Scouting in Lonsdale is a modern, forward looking, co-educational youth movement for the 21st Century. With over 1400 members across the District led by a dedicated team of adults, Scouting continues to offer a progressive programme of interesting, exciting and challenging activities to young people in the 4 to 25 year old age range.
We have two Activity Centres, one at Littledale near Brookhouse and one at Silverhelme near Silverdale.
With so many young people and lots of adult volunteers we are always in need of help. If you would like to help with young people, there are always roles. We also have a large number of back office volunteering roles. There are also roles at our Activity Centres helping to keep them functioning.
